Birds

Bird photography takes patience, a steady hand, a not entirely freezing day (or the right outerwear), a general idea of habitats, and mostly a lot of luck. Photography in general, and birdstalking more specifically, gets me out of my head and focusing on the natural world. I love light, shadows, baby fuzzits (as evidenced by the plethora of piping plover babies in this catalogue), and their grace.
